We at Land Enterprises cherish and appreciate the relationships we have built over the past two decades. One person, in particular, has been a great partner and friend of ours for a very long time. Andy Ortega, our roofing subcontractor with Ortega Roofing, has been around for at least 22 years. We can’t remember the exact year we started working together. That’s how long!  

How it all started

If you knew Brian, you most likely knew how friendly he was! Andy and Brian met when he was roofing an apartment complex in Oklahoma City. They struck up a conversation, and, at the time, Brian was roofing all of our projects. When he shared this with Andy, Andy told him he could handle the labor, leaving Brian more time to work with customers and sell roofs.  

Since then, Andy and his crews have been our long-time roofing subcontractors. Many of his crew members have been with him for over 20 years. Even though they are not our employees, it feels like they are because of how long we have worked with them.

Showing appreciation

Brian’s philosophy was always to treat our subcontractors like our customers. He knew that Andy and his crews could work for any roofing company, and he wanted Land Enterprises to be their favorite to work for. As a result, we provide water and their favorite drinks at every job. We take them to lunch occasionally and host a Christmas party for them every year. We also provide safety training to ensure each of them uses safe practices on our job sites. They are important to us, and we make sure to take good care of them.

We often receive compliments from our clients about how polite our crews are, how clean the site is each day, and what an excellent job they did on their roof. Andy and his crews are a significant part of what makes Land Enterprises Roofing excellent!
